Almost three years after the release of their first album, «Cycle I», , the Standard duo comes back with a four tracks EP, soberly entitled «Comma», thought as a punctuation to introduce the second cycle of releases of the Standard Records label. If the previous opus was built around 9 resolutely progressive tracks, «Comma» breaks somewhat with this contemplative dimension and has a much more immediate character.
Although the whole EP is marked by a Break and Acid character, and provided with a resolutely UK identity, the omnipresence of vocal samples coming from hits of the 90’s and 2000’s, gives it a much more pop dimension and adapted to dancefloors.
